This place suits me perfectly! It has great wi-fi, air conditioning, and the staff were helpful when they assisted me with my bags during my first stay. I highly recommend it!

We were really disappointed with the slow-draining sink. I should have informed management during our stay, but I didn't want to deal with maintenance issues. only two jets worked, and one was intermittent. This really put a damper on my birthday celebration—we had high hopes for the spa experience.

We had a larger room with a comfy bed and a private patio which was great for relaxing after a long day. The free bike rental was awesome, we cruised around the island and it felt liberating.

We had an amazing time exploring nearby attractions like Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, which were just a short drive away. The lodge had a welcoming vibe, and our King Room with a balcony offered a lovely spot to enjoy the evenings together, especially with our teenagers.

My kids wished there were more breakfast options for families.

the check-in process was a bit slow (but it was super friendly! ). the room was spacious with a cozy leather sofa, a well-equipped large bathroom, and an extremely comfy bed. the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach!

Also, I was disappointed to find only one hanger available at check-in, which felt inadequate for a hotel of this caliber.
